Hi, I recently got ahold of a virtua fighter dedicated cab. I wanted to convert it to the JAMMA standard so I took out the old board and started to re-wire it. Everything went fine until I tried to get a picture. I plugged in a Neo-Geo MVS board with Metal Slug 2 and this is the result I got:

I tried a differnt board Puzz Loop, and got the same result.
The monitor thats in the cabinet now is a Mitsubuishi Electronics A63JHF81X, which through some google-fu I've found is not standard resoultion, but 'Medium Resolution' which is 25khz. I know most games (including the ones I tried) are 15khz.
So my question is this: Is there any way to run 15khz games on a 25khz monitor? Or is there any way to.. I don't know... flip a switch on my monitor and make it 15khz? Im really quite new to the scene and this is the first cabinet I've tried to work on, so thanks in advance!
EDIT: Oh yes, the monitor was working perfectly when Virtua Fighter was hooked-up, so I dont think it needs a capkit.

That is just the "tube" number..... look around the electronic chassis itself for monitor identification.

You are correct that Virtua Fighter is a medium resolution game. And since the frequency is nearly double, hence the double image.

Depends on the exact moniotr that is in there.
Some are switchable, some are not.
