That site is a maws-like database and has nothing to do with the history.dat.  By history.dat the poster means Arcade History Database.

As stupid and pointless as real hunting is, hunting games are even less fun. 

Shoot at something that doesn't shoot back.  Let me get my heart medication.   ;)

Regardless, the game came out in 2000 and it's 3d, even if it were in mame it would be too slow to play.  Go find yourself some of those pc hunting games to play.

not the same. I have tried them
I am a real hunter. I hunt oct, nov, and dec.
deer hunting.
PC games are to real for me... very slow, The arcade is FLASH you have 3 deer in front of you. NOW pick the right one and shoot. fast.
now tracking or sitting for hours.

PC games try to capture the real hunt, 
Crap on that.... I want to shoot the critter and jump to the next one.

pump, bam, bam, bam, next scren ... pump bam , bam, bam,

wait. that dont sound right  ::)
