Title: Artwork Dilemma, need help and possibly hiring
Post by: flyguy1821 on August 23, 2006, 09:56:20 am
Trying to get some ideas for my cab with this picture.  It is called the "Widowmaker".  it is found under http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php?topic=41007.0 (http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php?topic=41007.0)
I have 2 marquees one in front that will have the name and something for background, not sure what yet, and another in the back between the 2 seats that will probably have the actual picture.  For rear art thinking just the spider alone? Side art have no ideas as of yet.  Not sure what I need to do.  I plan on looking through the "bible" tonight to see if any tips.  What do people usually charge for vectorizing and doing artwork on our site here?  Cause' I'm a lookin.  Here's the pic.

I'll post just this question too.  Wanting to see if anyone could help me or preferably do some vectorization for my panels and rear artwork.  I've got a big jar of pennies just itching to be put to use! ;D

That's a really nice piece, but I think you're going to have a hard time finding someone with enough patience to vectorize that.

If it makes any difference I really only want the black widow.  I have no idea how to do this type of thing.  If someone else has an image like this I would love to see it.

I dont know much about this, but the effects on the black widow all look like stuff that could be done with some tinkering in photoshop... would it be possible to vectorize just the basic shape of the widow and then resize to super huge, import it into photoshop and re-color (or maybe I should say re-stylize) it there?
