Title: MAME32 stuck at 34%???

Why when i select 'available' from the game list, and mame32 starts seraching for available games, does the search always get stuck at 34%?? Anybody else come across this problem?

It is because you only have 34 games in it.  ;D

Do you have CHD files? Searching on CHD files is slower if I good remember.

Any corrupted zip files?  Tried Audit option?

Have you tried scandisk and defrag???

Its a fresh install of windows, so it wont be down to the HD needing defragging. Could be a corrupted zip file.

EDIT: Left mame searching for roms at 34%, came back to it half hour later, and it had completed the search! But everytime i start mame32 now i get the same problem

Isn't there an option to search for new games at startup?  I dont have it on this pc and havent used it lately, but I recall seeing that.  Unchecking that box would probably eliminate the problem.

I get the exact same problem and still haven't been able to find a fix. It's only stuck for about 2 minutes though so I really don't mind.
