Im attempting to build a Mortal Kombat 3 from scratch Im gona get the plans on the net some where im sure google will help me (if you have plans for this cab i would appreciate a copy).
My question is this I want the cab to be as faithful to the original Midway one as possible and when it comes to artwork I wonder if the site like classicArcadeGraphix and similar that offer Marquees artwork and side art are of that good a quality.
Would I be better off searching for original artwork on ebay or is there no that much difference?
I did by a marvel vs capcom marquee of these people last year and wasnt happy with the quality but if anyone has Mortal Kombat artwork and could offer some feedback and advice I would be extremely grateful.
Many thanks in advance

I dont have any experience with those companies that print stuff for you, but try looking at arcadeart, maybe they have a vector you could print yourself at kinkos or whatever.

If you are building a mk3 for the sake of a mame cab then you can't use the original button layout and therefore can't use a nos overlay without it looking like a hack job. With that being said mk cpos are very organic and therefore can't be fully vectorized. Probably your best bet is to buy a nos cpo, scan it in, edit it or have it edited for a sf2 layout and then get it printed.
I wouldn't go with a mk3 design btw, mk2 looks waaay cooler.
