Title: Computer Parts & Components
Post by: Irishfan11 on August 17, 2006, 07:04:09 pm: I know many people may need computers or parts for their MAME cabinets so here is your chance

Just wondering if anyone has any interest in used harddrives, floppy drives, cd-rom drives, memory, motherboards, IDE cables or any other used computer parts.

I might start selling a lot of used computer parts here if there is interest so just post any computer related items or entire computers you need.

I help fix computers at my dads work and they have tons of used parts and an order brand new computers, parts, monitors or anything computer related.

I am not selling right now just seeing if there is any interest.

If enough people respond next week I can maybe begin selling.

If you have a steady supply of "this and that" you would probably find more continuing revenue from a side Ebay business if you monitor the prices particular items are selling at.

Most here, including myself, are always looking for a bargain combined with less hassle in completing the transaction but over the long haul you may not reach much volume business based on the size of the community.

That's my two cents which may or may not be worth two cents....

2-5 CD-Rom Drives

2-4 Floppy drives

2-5 Video Cards

2-4 Network Cards

2-5 Modem Cards

Tons of memory of all types

3-5 Motherboards and processors

CPU fans

Fan grills

Case fans

A couple old cases

15" CRT monitor

needs ram

modem that linux sees I woul like

hard drive allways on the look out

I am going to go with small HD for windos and larger for all data
I have the large drive ( to me a 60 + gig is large) any thing smaller I can put XP on I would like to have.

I have thought a few times of starting to either snag them, fix them and sell them locally for like $40 each, or just part them and see if I could get a couple bucks for each part.
