Ok, I think I have all the parts to Finlay put my MAME computer together. All I need to do now is solder my VGA cable together and plug all this stuff together.
One question still in my mind, How will mame work with my motherboard's on-board audio?
I have a ECS Elitegroup 848p-A7 that has 5.1 audio on-board.
I also have a 300 watt stereo that's going to power a couple of 6x9s because
I want to play music while playing my cab.
This system is a strictly MAME machine. Do I need a sound blaster card or something? :dizzy:

Yes Mame will work fine with your on-board sound. I use it myself too. I personaly think getting a seperate soundcard for a cab is overkill. And that's from someone who built a full-size amp and three-way speakers in his cab   :

If you're using Windows, you're fine with the onboard audio. Anything else (DOS, Linux, whatever), you need a driver for the onboard sound card and it may or may not work in Mame.
