I recently mirrored my Mame32 program onto my laptop from my arcade, but have found that some games like Asteroids run too fast. What can I do to bring it down to the proper speed?
Thanks.

Look for the "throttle" setting, and make sure its on.

I'll check it out tonight.
Thanks for the tip. I saw that function, but wasn't sure what it did. Kin of makes sense now :-[

Since you mirrored, might want to check the "rdtsc" option to make sure it's off, too. Older CPUs do rdstc fine, but most newer and laptop don't.

Thanks guys. I'll give it a go.

I had the same problem a while back and it was because I mistakenly presses a function key which turned on throttling ...... not sure which function key maps to throttle though .... F11 perhaps ..... I do not remember now.

I believe it's F10
