Title: simple start up menu for arcadefx or jukebox?
Post by: ahsmithers.. on March 15, 2003, 07:43:58 am
Hi All,

I am a newbie to this but am currently building a cab, and running winME 400Mhz amd k6 with arcade FX as a front end and also arcade jukebox 7....

What I would like to do is when the computer is booted up I would like a simple menu with just the two options 1... arcadefx 2.... arcade jukebox and then link to whatever selection.. Does anyone know of any simple programs ...or even nice graphical ones to use which will do this job please.... thanks andy

There are probably many ways to do what you want from simple batch files to fancier scripts.  Some menu builders can produce quite good looking output.   Try the menu builder below or search downloads.com for menus.

GameLauncher would do the job...

Might I suggest something simplier like party on?  Gl seems like overkill to launch 2 things.

Thanks again I am looking at all the above options and I suppose that party on probably would be a nice simple way of doing it!!! I think I will just play with them all and let you all know what turns out for the best.

Thanks again
