I was looking around at some games for the cab when I came across this page. I saw the screen and thought naw couldn't be. After reading it, it looks like the real deal, of couse just a different name. Anyway I remember back on THIS (http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php?topic=55360.0)post there were several of you that wished that the game still exsisted. Here it is.

Sweet Lord that brings me back. Every day after Pascal class we'd play SE in high school. Talk about the perfect game. It didn't even need graphics. I'd been filling my need for it with Worms, which fills nicely. Not exactly the same of course.

Giddy with excitement i've scorched my pants !!

Yay! I loved Scored Earth!
I even liked the 'ole q-basic Gorrilas game (similar in that you pick direction/velocity)

The original game still does exist and works perfectly in the DOSBox emulator. Does anyone know if the game is considered 'public domain' by now? If so, I'd be happy to host the image.

I've played "Atomic Cannon," and it's a pretty decent version of the game. Lots of weapons, simple to use, and pretty fun. Ability to make teams of tanks, different AI levels of difficulty. All in all, pretty cool.
