Title: Wanted: gutted arcade cabinet in Northeast Ohio area
Post by: IceCold on March 14, 2003, 11:50:02 pm
I'm looking for a gutted arcade cabinet, from somebody located in Northeast Ohio.  I live in Summit County, in Green township(if you know where that is).  I can probably pick it up.  I'd be willing to pay a little bit, or maybe trade some video games I have, in exchange for the arcade cab.

thank you!

Are you familiar with Rocco's in kenmore?  It's on east avenue off of I-76  That's the place I was talking about in this thread...

you may have to gut it yourself, but i've seen a lot of cabinets and cocktails go unaccounted for...they're possibly in storage somewhere.

Woah, Kenmore is very close to me.  Have you talked to them about selling any of the cabinets that have gone unaccounted for?

No, i haven't called them about it yet.  I live in Wadsworth.  The number is 745-4441.  Your best bet to get there from green would be to take 224 to the 619 exit (right after the 76 east exit) and turn right, it's down the road on the left.  They have great pizza and their working games are TMNT, final fight (one of the joysticks is broken) Their frogger cocktail is a little faulty.  They have an Operation Wolf that kinda half works.  Their Ironman Offroad works great!  They have a golf game, i forget what it is.  It's like 2.50 an hour to play games without limit (they're all on free play).  I still like it despite the fact that a lot of the stuff is useless or faulty.

Oh, and if you contact them and they've got more than one they'll sell, let me know.  I might be interested in it.

I got a cabinet in Canton I'm about to Ebay.  It is an Astron Belt.  It is in rough shape but the side art is actually quite good.  email me if interested.  Act quick or off to ebay it goes :).

How much do you want for it, and does it still work?

no.  doesn't work.  stripped out.  no monitor, no boards.  just a cabinet.  the cabinet needs some work.  it is pulling apart.  not hard to fix though.  I held onto it because the sideart is so good for that age of game.  I'm working on getting pictures up on the web(for ebay auction) I will post them asap.  If you are interested email me direct for more info.
