Title: Hi there..
Post by: yuppicide on August 11, 2006, 11:09:51 pm
Figured I'd say hi since I am new here. I was directed here by the Ultimarc website. Took me about 2 weeks to actually get in here. When I signed up it said I would need to be approved by someone here and I'd receive an email when I am approved, but I never got one. Just by chance I came back today and tried to login and I got in.

I'm building a MAME system soon and figured this is the perfect place to start talking.

I'm probably going to get a cabinet from mameroom.com - I want something new / easy to put together. Unless someone has a better suggestion.

I was doing some research and looks like I want the ArcadeVGA card and a Wells Gardner D9400 arcade monitor. It's the replacement to the D9200. I was told it'll plug right in with that video card or will I need an adapter of some sort?!

My system is only going to be used for MAME. Nothing else. I plan on putting in a decent computer, two joysticks and buttons, trackball, and spinner.

Yuppicide <---  is that named after the band yuppicide. I think I saw them play a few times here and there.
