Post by: gtcobra48 on August 07, 2006, 03:09:37 pm: I recently browsed the slikstik forum and saw a lot of posts expressing discontent with the communication, follow through and timeliness of orders. I wanted to understand from those that have dealt with them how valid this concerns are. What are the other alternatives outthere to obtaining a similar product aside from building yourself. Thanks.

I'll second this. It took them every bit of 6 weeks to get a product out to us, but when it arrived it was well packed and was a quality product. I'm turned off by Christians attitude on the board, but the fact remains I feel the slikstik quad we ordered is a good unit.

I too have had excellent experiences w/SS... They do make top notch products. I try not to pay too much attention to all of the "press" anyway.

They even gave me a personal phone number and assisted me when I ran into a little snag!

I've had my classic unit for over 2 years and (knock on wood) haven't had a single problem.

Highly recommended!

After an email, they replied the next day telling me to send it to them and they'll replace it for free no questions asked.

So far I have experienced excellent service from them.
