Yeah, I never got a response, and wouldn't pay more than $50 for that and that's WITH a decent 19" monitor.

Well, if people in MA need a standard JAMMA cab like that, PM me and I can likely get you one for a decent price.

I got it. Pick it up this week.

Does anyone know the dimensions of the cabinet? I want to ensure it fits, laid down, into the back of my Ford Explorer before I bother to borrow a pick-up.

This is a conversion, isn't it? It doesn't look like the KLOV picture of the 1990 Konami cab. Worth a restore?

It's a Dynamo.

It should fit easily into an Explorer.  I've moved Dynamos in much smaller station wagons.

Out of curiosity...and it certainly is understandable if you do not wish to say, but i am curious as to how much you got it for.
I had offered $175 pretty much right after it was posted on CL. I know of 2 other bids for it ,one way over mine and one just about the same . I'm pretty sure Chad threw in an offer.
None of us ever heard back (Chad?)
Unfortunatley for me, I have been using my work e-mail and it gets filtered out as spam so they probably never got my offer anyway.

I offered to haul it away for her.  Didn't offer cash but did offer to be there the next day with a truck from very closeby.

LOL, I'm sure a good  # of the 14+ that replied offered the same. At least for us it was literally down the road. I always forget to think of the amount of gas $$ it takes to pick some of these up when i maker an offer.

Sorry for the late response. Been a crazy week (the newest Black Tuesday from MSFT was a doozy).

I picked up the machine tonight. It's a pretty tired cabinet and the game itself sucks. But it has leaf switches and buttons, a good display, and decent bones. I think it'll clean up OK and I'll very likely turn it into something else. I've still got much to learn about these things.

Turns out that the seller is a "he" and not a "she" as I thought. Nice guy. I think he took the first offer he got but I didn't confirm that fact. I offered him a small cash amount but he asked me take it for free. This was odd given that he indicated that there was great interest in it. I think he just wanted it gone (not unlike what I think my wife is feeling right now) and didn't care about taking money for it.

Heavy as sh*t. I think I busted a vessel carting it out of his basement. Anyway, I like to think it went to a good home.

that's cool. They must not have got my offer. I figured my offer would have been the higher one. I only offered that much thinking it would guarantee me a reply. I actually regretted making that high of an offer but a buddy of mine really wants a Jamma cabinet.

Luckily ...I  got the Time Soldiers that was advertised for free a week or so ago. I responded to that one about 10 minutes after it was posted and the owner just got back to me(almost a week later)....I picked it up late last night.
turns out  it's in a Journey cabinet.

That was definitely cool of the guy to let you have it for free after asking for offers. He probably saw the struggle it took to get it out and was happy he didn't have to do it.

Yeah. Particularly given that I offered him cash. He basically declined payment. Personally, I don't really understand that since it was easy enough to take my money. It may be that he was overwhelmed by the responses and offers and decided to go the simplest route and simply give it to the first responder.

I'm glad you got another cabinet.

Oh, and thanks to Havok for the heads-up on this one.
