Title: would the sega genesis sports pad have the same trackball as in the arcade?

I need a sega trackball....is the one in the sports pad for the genesis the same as in the sega arcade cabs?

Doubt it highly - especially considering the extreme size difference.

cool, thanks! Just looking for a cheap alternative. Plus I can't even find a sega trackball around :(

Are Sega trackballs any different than Happs?  Because the Happs ones are pretty good.   Check the B/S/T.

I don't know about trackballs too much, but someone told me something in sega track balls is "negative" while happs are "positive".
