I saved for a long time to buy a spinner then the GGG spinner came out but I didn't jump on it fast enough and now they have been sold out for a while.
I tried E-mailing GGG but a responce may not make it through my comcast mail box(lots of stuff doesn't but I don't know how to fix it)
Plus I know that most of the shops that sell custom stuff for arcade cabs do it as a hobby and have families and other jobs. So I'm just glad that they do what they can.
My problem is that I am really poor until I finish school and this money I saved seems to be dwindling slowly as it turns in to 12 packs of crappy beer on weekinds.
I was wondering if any one out there has some inside info on when these things will hit the market again. My beer drinking will power is overwhelming my spinner funds.
I think that last time I herd anything GGG was looking for a machinists or something.

I hit the button on the cattle prod again yesterday. I'm hoping soon.
I think I can scrounge enough parts for one from the reserves. Email me and I will see what I can do in light of your situation. A couple of weeks ago, I sent the one from own CP to Kevin Steele so he could play with it for a while. So I don't even have one ATM :P
I think the flood gates will open shortly, and I appreciate the patience everyone has shown with the situation. The machinst promises to take the jobs more seriously as soon as he gets over his current situation (Elderly mother died, had to move out of the house, etc.) Here's to hoping
He always comes through, it just takes a while. But in the event that he doesn't, I'm always open to suggestions.
Thanks,
RandyT

I was in the same situation a few weeks ago. ie. wanted a TurboTwist and they were out of stock.
E-mail Randy and have him make you a preorder. That is what I did. Of course I was buying some other stuff too and I e-mailed him and he "manually"(?) added the spinner to my order. It showed up at my house before I knew it AND before the web page was updated! Of course the web page DID say -4 in stock :P.
But Randy will take care of ya!

I recently ordered one of the new push-pull spinners from Apache Controls and it was delivered within a week. It's not really in the same category as the GGG spinner (it's push/pull, and more expensive), but it's a great unit, and DOT is a favorite game of mine so for me the push-pull was the only way to go. I'm sure Randy will make good on all standing orders but if you a DOT lover like me you might want to check out the Apache.

It's not really in the same category for more than the reasons you cited. It's also almost 1/3 the resolution of the TurboTwist. If you are a hardcore DOT fan, then that spinner currently has the market cornered for that app.
The TurboTwist actually delivers a resolution just slightly above an original Arkanoid spinner. That means it not only works great for every conventional spinner game, it is especially well suited for that title. Not to mention all those analog paddle games that can make use of even more resolution.
