Title: Wells-Gardiner 25k7194 - Jumpy Problem
Post by: shepP on August 01, 2006, 08:56:58 am
Hi,

I have a Wells-Gardiner 25k7194 hooked up to a j-pac and arcadevga.  I'm using a resolution of 640x288 in both windows and mamewah.  For some reason, no matter how much I mess with the vertical hold, I can't get it to be pefect.  The text and images on the screen always seem to move up and down the slightest amount.  No matter how much I play with the v-hold the screen always seems a tad "jumpy"

Any Suggestions?

Thanks,

shepP

Does it do this with a genuine arcade game board connected to it? If not then the monitor is not at fault.

I don't remember it doing so with the genuine arcade monitor, however I'll plug the midway open ice board back in today to give that a test.  Thanks for info :)

I hooked up the arcade board and it does appear as though the problem still exists.  I guess I never noticed it before.  Any further suggestions as to what might be wrong?

Thanks,

You did adjust the horiz hold and vert hold? You did confirm that the sync wires are plugged into the correct pins on the monitor board?
