Whew!
After 76 days of no internet and one heluva move half-way around the world, I'm finally getting things back in order. I'm in my new house, hooked up my power, water, internet, and expect the rest of my household goods (including my MAME cab) to arrive in the next week or so. If all goes well the movers wont have broken anything and I can start building cabs again.
Needless to say, its nice to be out of the hotel and in what will be my home for the next 3 years or so.
Just had to get that off my chest. Didnt want you pansies to go cryin thinking I died or something...

Welcome back.
Good luck with the movers not breaking crap... it hasn't been my experience.

Eh. The military covers me up to $40k and I've got renters insurance on top of that, so if anything, I'll just have to file a claim. No biggie. The only thing I'll be pissed at is if they broke something I cant replace (I.E. my collection of steins and beer glasses from across Europe).

I wondered where you had wandered off to. Thankfully you didn't do something silly like discover outside interests. ;D

It's only an unconfirmed rumor. Don't let it rattle you, man.

It's got this horrible light with no dimmer on, you just gotta wait for it to go out. There's also analog people there. Some are teh kewl, others are like you mission ;) On the plus side, there's places out "there" where you can go slack and visit with us, and they give you pieces of paper every once in a while that you can exchange for monetary units in order to buy caffienated stuff and pop rocks.
I have to go outside every day, but I try to finish what I have to take care of as quickly as possible so I can get back here. Sometimes it takes so long outside, it just saps all the life force from you, and you have to insert more tokens. Just sucks ::)
On the plus side, sometimes there's an analog version of Leisure Suit Larry going on out there and you can join in! w00t! Just don't log in as Bozxcv, or that game isn't as much fun :badmood:
If you ever wanna try it, make sure to take your laptop with you.

Oh ok, I think I've been "there" a few times.
The resolution was pretty low, and I don't think they had AA and AF on.... I'll stick with the interwebnet.
