I have a ms pacman cab wired. I was thinking about purchasing a galaxian board to install into it. What wiring will need to be done to allow gameplay of galaxian? Wiring looks close on the 2 games. Do I need an adapter?
Also If my ms pacman cab is wired as a midway cab and I want to convert it to jamma, I want to play mr do in it. I already own mr do game with a jamma adapter. Should I just rewire the cab jamma or buy jamma adapters? My concern is the extra buttons needed for gameplay
Thank you

Check the pinouts but iirc just the speaker is off. An adapter would be really easy to make, or you could just modify the board. I think you shoot by moving up, so you may want to jumper that to one of the start buttons.
You should be more worried about the fact there's no DC power supply in an original Pac cab, so there's no way to get the 12,5,-5 volts needed for jamma. You'll need to modify the cab to put in a switcher. You may find a pac to jamma with voltage regulators, while expensive, will be much easier. I'm not sure if the jamma adapters come with the start buttons wired to the shoot buttons, you may have to do that yourself.

I have a happ switching power supply installed in the cab, the one that looks like a pc power supply. I will purchase a jamma adapter for this board, then wire up the start buttons, can you explain how to wire up a jumper to the fire buttons, thanks

I'm not sure what you mean are you getting a pacman cab to jamma adapter? if so solder a wire from start 1 to button 1 on it. They will be locked together, ie pressing start 1 or button 1 will fire and start. Since you don't have a button 1 you won't care about that part of it. The downside would be if you are set on freeplay you will start a new game accidentally a lot, but that's generally not a big deal depending on the game.
