Title: Disconnecting low voltage power from Jamma cabinet
Post by: edge on July 31, 2006, 11:08:35 am
Here's my situation:
- I have a SmashTV Jamma+ cabinet.
- I would like to connect the cabinet to both the JPAC and AVGA card.

Before I do something foolish, I would like to confirm that I am on the right track...  ;-)

Please review my attached pics.  How do I disconnect the low voltage power?

Thanks for the help!

Remove the AC wires from that power supply, and wrap electrical tape around the terminals so it doesn't short out on anything.

Peale,
Thanks for the reply.  However, I am unsure about which wires you mean.  I am not trying to be difficult - just want to be sure.

I circled 2 possible interpretations in red (thanks, krick!).

Survey says.... ? ? ?

Thanks.  Will do.

Edit:  I disconnected the molex circled in red on bottom of screen.  Worked fined.  I am up and running with the JPAC and AVGA.  Thanks for the help.
