Hey guys i need some help
my mame cabinet (MK2) is almost complete, i had the marquee out so i could cut the holes for the speakers, wouldn't you know that one of the speakers fell back into the cab and onto the side of the monitor, now my wg 095941 wont turn on. mind you that when i was doing this the cab was turned off. Two minutes after this i heard a hissing come from the back which lasted like a minute or so, when i turn it on i don't smell anything burning or nothing like that, i do see the power supply light on. anybody

If you short circuited the chassis PCB, then there's not much you can do.
Ken should be along soon so get some pictures of the damage and he may be able to point you in the right direction.
Good luck.

Yup. Another K7000 bites the dust.

As the evil hiss slowly silences..... we bow our heads in grief. :'(
That's a broken tube for sure.

Sure sounds like you cracked the picture tube and let air into it. It's now considered ruined. You'll be buying a new monitor for sure and ebaying the old monitor for parts.
