Title: GBA games played on psp transfered back to GBA
Post by: SithMaster on July 26, 2006, 10:08:30 pm
I have pokemon firered and hate playing on my GBA.  the screen is too dark and the batteries die too fast.  so would it be possible to play it on the psp and use the max replay to transfer it between my psp and gba through my pc?

otherwise can anyone recommend anything to help.  ive used a rechargable battery pack before but it stopped working even when plugged directly into my wall outlet.  also my screen protector light drained the batteries too much so i gave up on it.

thanks.

Why not just buy an SP? You could get one for maybe 20 or 30 bucks, and might even get lucky and get one of the back-lit ones, if you go used.

The GBA emulator for the PSP is far from what I'd call playable.  It's more of a proof of concept for 90% of the games.

do NOT get a PSP fro GBA emulation.  You will be sorely disappointed.

Why not get an DS Lite instead?  They have nice screens and run all GBA games by default.  Plus you get to play all the great DS games once you've finished the GBA games.

This is a much better way to go if you really hate the GBA.  I love my PSP to death and sing its praises any chance I get... but it's not the way to go to play GBA games.

Get a cheap SP or a DS Lite if you want to play GBA games, its the only way to go right now.  The PSP may be a good option down the road, but its not the way to go right now.
