$650 for a non-working game? Sigh.

I'd buy it if I had the $$$.

Having said that, I've heard that DoT can be a pain to get working again.

The DoT Enviro is one of those cabinets that I just want to have -- like a SW cockpit, Joust cocktail or dedicated Major Havoc. Oh well, 1 out of 4 ain't bad.

Cheers

That won't stay at $650.  It is so worth $650.

You're right, of course. I spent many a happy time playing in an enviro like that at the arcade. However, there's no way I can explain it to my wife.  ::)

I'd love to have that.

For free...

 ;D

But, they did chop up the cabinet already, so.. $50!

I don't really like the game at all, but I love that cabinet!

Yeah.   That was quite a jump in the last minute.   I thought I had it at around $1100 with less than 30 secs to go.   Oh well.   :'(

I didn't think it was worth the gamble to spend more for an untested cabinet that's missing the back artwork.

Oh well, my dream of this cab will continue.

I hope someone from here got it.

Good luck with the next one - I'm sure it will be complete and working for $1,100!

I'd love to find one someday as well, I never saw one in person, but I think the environmental effect while standing in there is wicked cool. It might even change my mind about the game...

No, it would be well worth $1800+ if working and it was complete.    My point was that the game was sold by a collector that didn't restore it (it said it hadn't been attempted) so the status of the game boards/power supply/etc. were unknowns.    Add to that the missing backart, plus some damage on what was there.   That's why I didn't bid more.

I'd love to have the game, it just wasn't worth the risk at $1800 IMO.

Had it been in working condition... I would've put in a much higher bid.

Still... less than 30 secs away from me having my dream game.  Oh well.   It was worth the heart ache of losing the auction just for the few days I had dreaming about winning it.

Any game except maybe a motion sim game isn't worth that price unless it's either brand new or fully restored.  Since this isn't and is known to be non-functional, it's worth a couple hundred bucks, maybe 500 if you REALLY wanted it.

I wish cabs were that valuable, but they aren't.

Nahh.. $1800+ is too much...

Besides, fee-bay is the WORST place to buy an arcade machine. Find a burnt out collector that just wants to get rid of the thing. Or, someone who doesn't know what they've got, estate sale, garage sale, etc...

Good luck!
