Title: Question about Credit Boards??

Right, have gotten a credit board which came with a diagram, on the credit board there are a number of screw terminals, they are sectioned, PL1, CN1 and CN2 on the diagram.

PL1 terminal Power & Coin Out i understand, has 3 screw terminals:

1. Coin Pulse Output - i understand this would go to my I-PAC coin terminal??
2. 12 Volt In- Live
3. 0 Volt in - Ground - Would i be able to connect this to the ground on my I-PAC?

Now this is where im not too sure whats what, terminal CN1 has 4 screw terminals:

1. Coin Mech Lamp (0 Volts) - ground simple enough for the lamp
2. Coin Mech Lamp & S10 Coin Switch Common (+12 Volts) - What is a S10???, not sure if i need to have this terminal wired up???
3. No Connection - enough said
4. S10 Coin Switch normally open ( Coin Input 5) - Dont understand this at all??

CN2 terminal 2 inputs:

1. +12 volt to meter (return) - would this be connected to the '+' side of a coin counter???
2. 0 volt to meter (pulse) - and this to the '-' side of the coin counter??

If someone could help me out please??

what make of credit board is this?
usual connections are;
12v input from game board
common (0 v)from game board
meter output to negative of meter
12v meter output to positive of meter
coin channel output to game board
s10 is a coin mech type(mechanical)
what coin mech are you using??
you can wire the coin door bulb direct to common and 12v don't worry about those connections on the credit board

The coin mech is a MAR MS115, not sure on the credit board, im guessing that must be a MARS aswell, as it has ribbon cable that attches to the mech to the credit board. So ill want the, Coin Pulse Output to be wired to the Coin terminal on my I-PAC??. What is ment by 'meter' what is the meter??

sorry mate i'm a brit,we call coin counters as meters.
i am very familiar with the ms115 coin mech
i am not conversant with an i-pac,i guess its a switch signal converter board used on mame,but from what i can deduce you are correct the coin pulse output should go to the coin terminal
you have brit built technology there my friend( we make things to confuse americans ;D)
