Title: (Marquee) Printing technology
Post by: Level42 on July 22, 2006, 05:48:15 am
OK, I'm ready to order some artwork for my cab. Got a question though:
I think most companies print out the artwork with an ink-jet printer or something like that.

I found a guy who doesn't print but makes photo exposed marquees and CP's etc. I wonder if there are any advantages/disadvantages over this process ?

Can't believe no-one can say something about this ?

Do all the "internet" arcade graphics printers actualy only use printing instead of photo-exposure ?

what exactly is photo exposure??  Just making a typical photograph print?  The inkjetters print on vinyl or lexan from behind which will be more durable than a photo print, but most inkjet prints are also done on low end printers that will fade over time.
