I am brand new to this forum, and will be starting my first joystick project. I'de like to build one similar to the xarcade joystick (single player). Can anyone tell me the dimensions? I am mainly looking for depth of the case itself.
Also anyone know if it is possible to attach suction cups to the bottom of the wood? so that the joystick stays secure while playing. Are there any alternatives to securing it down only while in use?
thanks

Wow fast reply, thanks
is there another alternative? I prefer playing with the joystick on a table or flat surface. But again it needs to be portable.

If you make it out of a good heavy wood and use rubber feat i'd imagine you'll be ok... if not toss a brick into it. or use duct tape (duct tape is brilliant for just about everything)
I'm sure you could work some sort of clamp out like flight yokes and steering wheels use if you were really anal about it.
