Title: Pentranic Monitor Used With Pac Man?
Post by: phillymadison on July 17, 2006, 11:58:54 pm
Hi all,

First post for me, I searched the forums a bit to see if this was answered in anyway but I didn't see it anywhere

Theres an auction on ebay for a 19" Pentranic CGA KIT
http://cgi.ebay.com/19-inch-CGA-Arcade-Monitor-Kit-CRT-Yoke-PACMAN-8-liner_W0QQitemZ190008969334QQihZ009QQcategoryZ13718QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

It says you can use it for Pac Man which is what I need it for. I was just wondering if anyone knew how hard it is, or is it worth getting this monitor for a Pac Man machine?

I searched the internet for any other monitors I could use and this was the best price

Any info on this would be greatly appreciated thanks

It's a KIT! It's just a pile of parts that you'll have to assemble, adjust, test, tweak, and it all requires you to put all this on your old monitor frame.

Just call Happ Controls (1-888-BUY-HAPP) and order monitor # 49-1329-VP2 for $149. I just installed one in a Ms.Pacman last week. Only took a few minutes to do it.
