Title: Console snapshot naming?

Anyone know of a source for snaps for console games Atari2600/NES/etc that are named according to a ROM filename standard?   (i.e. so a frontend can pull up the correct image when the ROM name is highlighted).

There isn't a rom filename standard for console roms and thus such a collection doesn't exist.  Sorry. :(

maybe the good tools could be used for this as they rename the roms to unique names...

My FE can rename snaps to match the rom file name, and thus show up in the FE.

BUT you still have to take the snapshots 1 at a time :(  A good pursuader to not have ALL roms but just the ones you like!

CM, do you know of a good source for snaps for consoles period? (Despite being named incorrectly).  I have come across very few sites with a full collection.

I got a tombstones archive back in the day and it contained snaps for almost everything .. but the names do not match roms at all .. so unless I do it by hand they are relatively useless to me other than just for browsing.

Yeah, not much to do but do it all by hand.  :(
