I am in a dumb panic. Hopefully someone can help me swiftly.
I was adjusting the MALA screen resolution from within MALA and after it finished mala was upside down.
I closed mala down and now my desktop is upside down. I tried using mala to swith and flip the orientation and I tried some other resolutions and I cant get my desktop to switch back
running XP with a VGA computer monitor
thanks

WOW That a Bug I ain't heard of.
Questions:
What resolution did you get mala to set your resolution to ? (I will try and re-create the error)
Do you have any rotation software on your PC?
What video card are you using?
-
I dont have a video card actually.
its a gateway PC and I have no rotation software.
the resolution I tried to get it to was 800 x 600 on the pc
and I think I tried malas 1152 x 864 x 32
-
Is there a way outside of MALA to just switch my orientation back?

Sorry Worked fine for me

Some video cards (like the vidia one I have) has rotation options built in, so I was thinking if that was the case it may have got confused.
I would be looking outside MaLa for a solution.
It would seem that your on-board video chip in your Gateway PC does support rotatation or it would not happen.
Can you try and find the latest video driver from the gateway website?

yeah, I fixed it outside of mala. I right clicked the desktop>properties>settings>advanced>graphics driver>graphics properties>rotation then I simply selected "normal" instead of "180 Degree"
oops.
thank you loadman
