What is the model number of those Creative 2.1 speakers with the wired remote that alot of people use for their cabs, I'm having trouble finding anything in the search.

I had a hell of a time finding these... I went to two Wal Marts, CompUSA, Best Buy, Target and Circuit City. Nobody had them, or any other 2.1 speakers that I would consider equivilent. I ended up having to mail order them from CompUSA. They're web only from them.

Staples had a similar thing, but they had tweeters on the satellites and cost $50 + $20 rebate, which I didn't feel like paying. I'm gonna check a couple Wal-Marts nearby and if they don't have them, I'll just order them online.
Thanks for the link

I purchased mine off ebay for $20.00

Yeah, I checked Ebay and the cheapest is about $30 with shipping, and they appear to be "fell off a truck" specials. I can order them on-line from Wal-mart for $27 shipped, and have an easy outlet to return or exchange them if I ever need to, that's assuming I don't just manage to find them in a store.

I got these and they crank!

But, I lucked out - got them for $29 shipped about 6 months ago...

Those are the ones Staples has for $50 + $20 rebate. I really wanted the square speakers w/o the tweeter, though.

On the same note:
I'm about to buy speakers for my own system. As far as sound quality is concerned, are the basic suqare speakers adequate? I intend to play music from my cab as well, but so long as it sounds decent, that'll be ok for me. (For old Vidgame commercials and new MP3s during downtime)

Yeah, I use the basic square speakers along with a subwoofer, and they're great. Of course not as good quality as if you bought a $300 speaker set, but plenty good for MP3's and whatnot.
