Title: 8-way joystick and a 4-way joystick wired to the same Ipac2 inputs?
Post by: rdowdy95 on July 12, 2006, 11:41:23 am
Have any of you ever wired a 8way and 4 way joystick to the same inputs on an Ipac2?  Like send two wires into the Up, left, right, down.  And they would pretty much control the player 1 side.  If so would I need to put the wires in the input straight or do I need to twist the wires then put them in, and screw them down into the Ipac2?

Yes, you can wire both the 4 and 8 way into the same inputs on the IPAC.  Thats how I did mine.  You don't need to twist them as the input hole is more then big enough to accept the two wires.

Yep, I did it too.  No problems and works great.
