Title: Ms. Pacman Jakks Wiring - Help?
Post by: shawnzilla on July 11, 2006, 03:17:24 pm
I'm attempting to wire a Ms. Pac Jakks controller into a control panel. I wired everything up, and it comes on, but the only button that works is the Reset button. Nothing else responds, including the joystick. I have everything wired to a common ground, so the grounding is definitely in place. Any suggestions? The only thing that has no connection is a pink wire labeled "VDD" (the one in the same row as the joystick & button inputs).

Has anyone else encountered this issue? Any thoughts or suggestions?

Is this the wireless or wired version? If it's the wireless, PM me and I'll send you the information I have on it.

Wired version. And I noticed something a little strange. The reset button works whether or not it is hooked into a ground or not. Is that particular circuit grounded with the power button? If so, do I need to run the rest of the controls to a different ground?
