Title: Looking for PCB Mounting Feet...
Post by: javeryh on July 09, 2006, 09:24:57 pm
Ultimarc sells these and they are perfect but I'm afraid shipping to the US isn't worth it on a $3 item.  Anyone have any other suggestions?  CompUSA does not sell these either...  THANKS!

richardp171 has them for 99cents.  His post is the 3rd or 4th one up top.

If not, just grab a BIC pen and take the ink out.  Cut the white sleeve into pieces and put the screws through that.  Works great in a pinch.

You can also use the outer shielding from coax cable.

I have a big bag of computer screws, and posts from stripping out junk computers. The motherboard posts and screws worked great for me in my desktop CP for mounting an IPAC. So if you have a junk computer sitting around, go to town on it.
