Here you go, hot off the presses. I'm going to go back and add a vertical layout to "Blue" and then I need to concentrate on my other projects. Hope you like it.

Wow, that looks great! The vertical version of Blue is definitely going to be on my vertical cab, too. I'm not familiar with layouts at all yet. Is the text on them editable, or are they graphical? Either way I can work with it. I'd just like the area where it says MAME on the layout to have my cabinet name.

That part of the layout is set to display the title of your emulator (handy if you're using several). It can easily be disabled in the layout editor or replaced with another text box that displays your message.

Thanks. I'm going to be running arcade games only, and don't really want any references to MAME. The cabinet appears to be a deicated Sky Soldiers, and that's the logo I'm going to try to insert there.

Yep, that's pretty much what I did with the layout for my Gamecreature machine. But I figured I'd try to appeal to as many common users as possible with the uploaded layouts.

Its a nice one. the gamecreature one looks nice too. I really wish people would make more vertical layouts though. The choices that are available are so limited its rediculous.
vertical layout recieves no love hardly ever :(

Okay, here's the scoop. I choose MaLa as the FE for my cab and made my own layout for it. The reaction to it was so positive that I decided to modify it and share it with everybody else. (I'll make an additional modification for vertical use just as soon as I figure out what I'm doing) I did a second one because I really like MaLa and wanted to contribute something to Swindus so he would keep doing the great work he's been doing with MaLa. Will I do more? probably, but it will probably be a while before the next one. Honestly, I'd love to spend all of my time making cool skins for free, but I don't think my wife would approve of that particular business plan. For that matter, my other clients are also probably wondering why I'm wasting my time on this stuff instead of doing the stuff they're paying me to do. ;)
That being said, I'll go ahead and take a look at MameWah and see how their layout editor works. I'm not sure if these layouts will convert or not (actually, I'm positive that Alien Dashboard won't convert because of the roundness and scaling on the menu.) If it can be done, I'll gladly share the results with everybody.

Right now I'm slogging through about 2 month's worth of projects. Once I finish the work for the paying clients, I'll get back to you folks. Sorry about the wait, but my clone machine's on the fritz.

Alien Dashboard is using a snapshot in the uploaded version, but I'm currently using movies here at home.
