Hey all!
I'm going to build a PC based lightgun cabinet. I have everything I need,
but I would REALLY like a lightrifle or something like an MP-5 instead of
the act-labs gun I have now.
I see that the consoles have many options, but I can't find anything for PC.
Any advice?
Something like this would be AWESOME:

Thanks!
By the way, can a adapter XB-to-PC work??

buy a cheap airsoft mp5 for $30 and gut it and put the act labs controls in it. You will have a one of a kind very realistic lightgun! Fill the voids in the gun with that spraycan foam that hardens. Dont add too much weight to the gun for realism as it will make the gun very heavy and tiring during play.

i would reccomend the same method. I havent done anythign with lightguns in a long time, but years ago, i gutted my NES zapper and mounted it inside of a toy m16 assault rifle that i picked up for a few bucks at toys r us. worked great, looked great, and nobody had one like it.

Hey, that sounds like a good idea!!
But it sounds somewhat difficult.....but I just HAVE to have a MP-5!! :hissy:

Hi,
The gun you linked to is Guncon2 compatible - so it should simply work with the Guncon2 drivers available for the PC.
See the rather large "guncon2" thread for more info.
Note that all lightguns based on this technolgy will not work well with games that require continuous tracking.

Thanks!
I just got hooked on the MP5 build idea:)
But what should I search for? I live in Europe, and I need the MP with shoulder
attachment..
Thanks!

I play airsoft and any airsoft gun will be good for realism and weight.
the cyma version of the mp5 is pretty close to realistic and its about $30 usd.
this is the one I was thinking of specifically but you can check out the site and see what else you like better.
