does anyone know what would cause my wells gardner 25'' monitor to be fine and then go to a wide screen. Now it looks like it is a wide screen and it will not ajust. any help would be appreciated Tony

Do the obvious thing, check for cracked solder joints. Might need caps too.

Does the horizontal pot effect the picture at all when you try to adjust it?
(the pot itself could be bad or broken)

well I put a cap kit in and seem on the underside of the board that there is many wires jumped around to make contact. should I just buy a new chassis or try to finish repair?

Those jumped wires are factory done. Perfectly normal. Finish repair.

well put it back together and the same thing, took the chassis out of my blitz and same thing could it be a tube?

replaced whole monitor and found out tube was bad but thanks for all your help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

hmmm,first time i have ever heard of a tube causing a width problem

Yeah, I'm sure it was still something on the chassis.
Hope he didn't just ditch it.....
