Title: FS: x-men 6 player cabinet and board Long Island, NY
Post by: stevejt on July 03, 2006, 08:49:01 am
Before I try Craigs List ans Ebay, any interest here?

X-men 6P cabinet, withOUT monitors.  CP was drilled for 4 players instead of 6.  Have front glass and reflective glass.  Painted over in black.  (Would make the mother of all mame cabs with a bigscreen.)  $100.

Also bought a 6p board, but never even unwrapped it.  $100.

Steve

Picture from KLOV (http://images.webmagic.com/klov.com/images/X/cX-MEN.jpg)

I've always loved these machines, but I would get disowned by everyone in my house if I brought it home :(  That's why I opted for my 4p X-Men.... but it just isn't the same haha.

I wish you were far away so I couldn't even tempt myself with this, but you're close.  Damn you!  :laugh2:

how does the two monitor support work.  is it that both are connected to the board like any other then wouldnt it be possible to have a universal go in?

point you give me your 4 player and then you can get the 6p?  ill even help move'm.

With the latest version of Mame v.106u8 i believe has support for dual monitors. So you could technically run mame with it using 2 video cards. 1x AVGA & 1x PCI Video card. Although, with the 6P board set, there really isn't a point. And there aren't too many arcade games that take advantage of the 2 monitors. Playchoice comes to mind. I say restore it. I wish i had the room and lived nearby, cause i would so take this :)
