I would like to get a template of an original cabinet for Ms Pacman or Galaga. Not Pacman/Galaxian!
I have the board and related parts but I need to build a cabinet since I can't find a reasonably priced used one.
I found a marquee, side art, and monitor bezel art but
$$$$$$ WOW!!! I'll piece that together over the next few months.
I would be willing to pay for a template made from 3/8" plywood or MDF that could be cut into say 3 pieces (for shipping purposes) and pieced back together and cut out with a trim bit in a router.
I have seen dimensions and pictures on the web but would rather have the real deal so it's authentic!
Would like to just have the side template. I can use dimensions from the web to cut the front, back, and top.
I need the angle that the cp/monitor sit at too.
This is for my 9 year old daughter's birthday present!
I can't get to the computer while my wife and daughter are playing Ms. Pacman so i figured I would build one!! ;D
What size monitor was used in these?
Any help or info would be much appreciated!!!
Thanks

I am in the process of makeing a cocktail cab myself. The Pac Man cocktail cabs are floating around the net. A 19" monitor would be great. Why does it need to be so authentic? Why wouldn't you just build a MAME cab? Will your 9 year old daughter tell the difference? I think you should find the plans, buy the best plywood at home depot, and get to work. It is about 10 hours of serious assembly the rest is just painting. Do you plan on making a cocktail, upright or caberet? I am not quite sure, but I belive Ms. PacMan was available in those 3 diferent form factors.

Twizted,
Where are you located? I have a Ms. Pacman cabinet that is waiting for me to get to for a MAME project. I just can't seem to get to it. I might be willing to let go of it for a worthy cause especially a restoration.

I want an upright.
After talking to my wife and a little brainstorm the side art should be the same shape as the cabinet. So that should serve as a worthy template.
Thanks for the offer of the cab but shipping or travel to you would be a little much with me in Ohio!
I'll order the side art in a month or so and go from there.
I'll post updates as the project unfolds.
Then I get a cab for 4 players and a trackball for PC GTG!!
I'll be around!
This site was a major find!
Thanks!
Rick
