Title: Can I use a different chassis for my monitor?
Post by: markymarky99 on June 29, 2006, 06:11:06 am
I have a  VISION PRO monitor which now has a bad chassis.  I have a brand new chassis that was pulled from what I believe was a Pentranic monitor that had a bad tube.  The connections look exactly the same .  It seems as if you could simply plug this PEN chassis right in to the monitor of the VISION PRO.  Would this work?  thanks for your time, mvc

that all depends on whether they are both the same resolution tubes, the same yoke impedence, and tube neck pins are the same-i have looked at your related posts and i believe you have only blown that component on the heat sink, worth changing that first
