Title: I thought you could remove the analog sticks on a dual shock when hacking?

I recall, vaguely, seeing somewhere that it was acceptable to remove the analog sticks from the dual shock when hacking it as to cut down on the size a bit.

Seems as though I was either wrong or I fried something somehow that I'm unaware of.

Any insight on this so I know next time if it'll work?

depends what model you are hacking my friend, some come off some are built onto the citcuit........
