Just got back from a week at Disney World with the wife and son, and I finally went and checked out Disney Quest. Can you guess where I spent most of my time? Yup, in the classics section....and oh what a joy it was. There's something about playing Tron on an actual Tron cab...what a treat! Not to mention playing Front Line complete with the spinner/button controls. I just went down the line giving some time to each machine and it was truly wonderful. The highlights though had to be playing Star Wars in a sitdown cockpit, and playing DKjr on a machine whose joystick was kinda wonky and caused me to die multiple times!!! I've never been so happy to die in a video game! <br>
It was just like I remembered, minus having to dump in coins...Definitely a trip highlight for me (not so much for the wife though...not sure why ;D)

Do they have an original robotron? We're going there in October. I'm looking forward to it.

Aaaaahhh Robotron. Love that game to death.

Yeah, there's nothing like the actual sounds of the arcade - love the ambiance!

Don't remember seeing a Robotron machine, but I did see a Berzerk machine ;D
It was actually quite entertaining to see who was actually playing the games in that section...basically a lot of people my age (the other side of 30), but there were a few young kids playing away, but they'd leave games half thru...I guess Tekken Tag Tourney is still a little more entertaining for them young-uns...

How many games do they have in the classics section? We're going at the end of the year. Unfortunately, I've read that DisneyQuest will be closing in 2008. (http://jimhillmedia.com/blogs/jim_hill/archive/2006/04/25/2051.aspx)

thats sucks to hear they will close the doors. :censored:
I went to disney quest back in 2002 and the classic arcade room was a bit limited. The star wars sitdown was broken in the corner (this made me sad considering it was one of my favorites as a kid) and so were a few other games. I think there was only 5 or so playable games at that point. I believe tron was on of them.
