Title: pushbuttons with toggleable illumination?
Post by: st_claire on June 23, 2006, 03:50:03 pm
Hey, I was wondering if anyone knows of any pushbuttons which let you toggle their illumination on and off, or if it would need to be home made. What I'm interested in accomplishing is to be able to send a signal from the computer which turns the button light on and off, sort of like pinball machines which flash the start button after you insert coins.

Thanks very much.

Yeah, that would have to be home made. I remember I wanted something kind of like this where everytime I pushed my pushbutton the light would turn on. I remember on one of my computers I have a diagram on how to make it with what chip and resistors you need. I never tried it because I think it's pointless now. Anyway, on your request, I'd go into that thread with the financing for arcade programing projects. They might be able to help you out there. Thanx.
