Okay, firstly the ledwiz and PowerMAME are amazing ! I've got a simple attract mode animation setup and the button lighting for each game seems to work flawlessly (after much messing about with the ledwiz.cfg file in PM).
So, onto my questions :
1. Has anyone managed to find a way to get attract mode sequences working in an FE ? I use MAMEWah if thats any help. I downloaded Mahutis swiftled but that seems to be for lighting buttons used in game (and I cant seem to get it to work anyway !!!! - new version out though so I'll try that tonight).
2. How do you use LWSend ? What parameter is it expecting ?
3. Baring in mind that Randys Ledwiz control panel cant reload previously saved anims, what are people using to create anims ? Personnaly, I create a simple anim then edit the lwa file and copy and paste bits - seems to work.
4. In PowerMAME theres a slight pause between each lwa - is this something everyone else has noticed or is it just me ?
Thanks for taking the time to read.

1. The new version works, much, much, much better
2. The primary reason I created my crapplication was to launch LWA files... not so much auto lighting, which is an ongoing project that's not fully complete. That being said... my crapplication can take any parameter passed into it, and open an LWA file that is stored in the ledwiz folder.... for instance
run>c:\swiftled\swiftled.exe attractmode will launch whatever you have listed in the overrides.ini file as corresponding to attractmode... ie.
attractmode=whatever.lwa

Mahuti,
Just the man I was hoping to answer at least one of my questions !
I have been trying to use the previous version of swiftled (is the the later incarnation of bloodywiz ?) and it looks like I was using it incorrectly. I think I thought the paramater was the lwa file - no wonder it didn't work !
I'll give the new release a go tonight - cheers mate !

I"ve set the new one up to TAKE the .lwa file as a parameter... so the new one should work for you either way.
And yes, swiftled is the newer version of bloodywiz... (not that you asked, but..) when I originally named it, it was named bLedWiz... I was lazy and just added a b to the ledwiz name for testing purposes, then as a joke I started calling it bloodywiz... since I've continued developing it, I figure I should get away from using a name that's evocative of cancer symptoms. The new name is mostly based on the fact that my development environment for the app is Flash, so the resulting flash files are .swf. I don't know how swift it really is, but since it's flash based the name's fitting enough.

And by new one, I mean vs 2.0.86... I released a 2.0.85 version and immediately added new features. The links in the relevant thread all point to the newest version.
