I am now the new owner of a used Sega Dreamcast, it all started last week when I was playing Ecco on a genesis emu...my daughter loves Dolphins, soo I thought it would be cool to play the Ecco DC game that came out way back in 2000. I've been wanting to get a DC now since 2000/01...finally have it im soo stoked. I got a nice condition DC, a VMU and crazy taxi for $42.95 from my local game xchange, best bit was I traded in 6 N64 games, 3 x-box games and I only had to pay the $3-4 difference. Sweet!
Now I need to get/find Ecco, according to ebay its one of the more expensive DC games.

If you only wanted to play Ecco, you could have picked up the PS2 version for cheaper. Don't get me wrong though--your DC will not go unused :)
Games I still play on a fairly regular basis:
Jet Grind Radio, Crazy Taxi, Power Stone 1 & 2, Mr Driller, Marvel vs Capcom 2, and Soul Calibur.
The main motivation for buying an XBOX was to play the sequels to the games I loved on DC (specifically Jet Set Radio Future and Crazy Taxi 3).

hey CQ, thing is I dont have a PS2 :dizzy:, I've got a Xbox, GC, and now a DC. I did not know Crazy Taxi 3 was out for the box tho. Ecco is very cool, hard but very pretty, even for a 6 year old game...man time fly's...2000 doesnt seem that long ago :hissy:
P.S games I want to play on my (newly acquired) DC :laugh2:
Ecco
Test Drive Lemans (want this game sooo bad)
Ikaruga
Sega Rally
Daytona USA
Marvel Vs. Capcom 2
soul caliber
Street Fighter III: Third Strike (IS THIS THE BEST SF GAME FOR THE DC???)

IMO, 3 bites the big one! It plays like a new PC game on 5 year old hardware the way it slows down when things get filling the screen up...

Sorry, this is a bit off topic, but I couldn't resist. I thought that you might be close to me here in my hometown when I saw you got this at Game XChange. I remember when they opened the original one here in 1992. I thought that they just had about 4 or 5 local stores now, but I looked at thier website and they have 60 stores in 12 states. That is just crazy to me. It is still funny to me, though, that the original store says "World Headquarters" on the outside.

 yeah game x-change here is pretty sweet. One time there I got LOTR Fellowship of the ring EXT edition Boxset for free when I traded in some SNES games about 2-3 years ago, I also got a couple of Gamecube games too at the same time. always good deals to be had ;D.
also, im going to steer clear of CT3, the reviews are not good for that.
I might check out Crazy Taxi 2 on the DC >:D
