Title: happs trackball only goes up and down

I installed my happs trackball about a week ago and it was working fine, now it seems to only go up and down and will not go left and right, this is also my mouse so I need to to go every direction.  anyone know why this is happening?  thank you.

Did you check to see if the wires are all connected?

yes, they are connected via optiwiz cable and pcb interface, for some reason it is now working it is intermittent.

Check to see if the wires are connected loosely.  It could be possible that the connector is barely making contact leading to those intermintent problems.  Re-connect the X-Axis wires just to be doubly sure. 

By the way, if you already did this, sorry for being repetative.
