Hi All,
I'm in the process of finishing my arcade cab and are in need of various parts. I'm willing to do photoshop work (control panels, sidearts, marquees, etc.) in trade for any of the following:
2 1/4" or 3" trackball
Red, Blue or Stainless Steel peartop slikstik handles
LedWiz, PAC DRIVE or MaLa Hardware
ActLabs LightGun (newer PPK styled one)
26"+ Marquee retainer
100-200 2007 Mame tokens
CHD set
Pushbuttons (1/2up, 6 red translucent pushbuttons, 6 blue translucent pushbuttons, 4 clear translucent pushbuttons)
I'm willing to help you build a concept for your cab project but would prefer it if you have a general idea or inspiration to make things go smoother. While I don't have a portfolio online at the moment, I'm happy to whip up a concept before we initiate any trades. Please reply if you are interested.
Some concepts (not finals) below.

Dude, I dig this. Very late 80's skateboard-esque. Reminds of a time before Gator killed that girl and got life in prison. Man, he had some cool boards.

You got some skills. You'll also get a flurry of emails and PMs from me very soon.

Round 2.
Here's the updated concept. The controls have been snapped to your measurements and are also pictured to scale, now is the time to make sure you are 100% with the controls layout. Some closeups are provided for details of note. I need some decisions/feedback on the following:
- Directionals layout, I have 5 different styles pictured let me know which one you like best (colors and elements such as 4/8 way can be adjusted later). Note that the black circles in the center of the directionals (1.5") are to approximate joystick dust cover washer size and will not be part of the final panel design.
- Spinner directional design. I think you are going with a blacktop spinner but a blue anodized one (pictured) would fit in better
- Button outlines, do you want as-is or an outline/pattern/etc
- MAME atomic blue logo. I'm willing to go either way with this but I think the design would look better without it. The logo itself is fine but the end result is probably going to look like you put it on there as a sticker. It may look better in orange. I could also make it real small and put it on top of the CP outline at the bottom. I've put in some MAME text that has a kind of carved in look to it which might or might not be an alternative you like.
- Trackball outline. Let me know if you prefer the stepped gradient colored outline (left side) or the carved in look (right side). I can also simplify this if you prefer a single outline etc.
- The CP outlines are approx 1/2" in thickness, the furthermost outer outline is ~1" (after you trim all the way around it will be 1/2"). The color on the outer most outline should be pretty close to your blue T-molding which should make it blend nicely.

Sent your CD today via USPS, you should have it probably by the end of the week at the latest.
-
And I sent your produkts via priority parcel post. You too should receive your items by Friday.
I'd like to post a small jpeg of CamSauce's control panel he made for me. He does great work and is easy to deal with. I am VERY pleased with the final product.
Your cabinet's artwork will be something you have to face every time you want to play Robotron (or whatever). Dont skimp on your artwork. Go custom. Ask Cam.
Thanks again.
