Greetings from Sunny South Africa
This my 1st bartop arcade built from scratch.
I kinda liked the button placement and overall design of the Lunacade , as for whats under the bonnet is as follows.
P4 2.8 ,512 MB ram , 17"CRT 120 gig drv ,keyboard hack and Mala front end .
I would like to thank all the guys who have posted here
(sure makes interesting reading).
And a special thanks to the guys making their artwork and software available to all arcade junkies on the net.

*wow* I love the smooth edges of the side panels :o
nice job! :)
-
Wow - easily one of the nicest bartops I've seen. Nice work!!
-
Nice!
Can you elaborate what you did to the sides? Im guessing some kind of routing was done.
The best looking bartop without T-moulding I must say.
-
Very nice work. I've always thought the Lunacades had a nice design, and you followed it through quite well. More pictures!

:applaud:
Please tell me that you have pictures of the construction of this beauty.

Awesome bartop!!!!!! Very nice in every way. I hope mine turns out close to the same level.
-
Thanks for all the compliments.
The holes are cut with a jigsaw and then routed.
A disk of 6mm mdf is then placed on the inside to cover the hole.

Ive always liked the atomic design. just not the price of the kit. could buy a coctail for what they want for it. this is a really nice replica. do you have the plans or did you wing it.
it looks close enough to look like you got the plans or measured from someone who had an existing box.

I took the white silhouette in the middle of this pic and blew it up until it was more or less the right size then drew up plans from there http://www.lunacade.com/features.html
There are no plans i know of for a lunacade and i know no anyone who has one.
Thanks for the compliment.

Very nice!
Would you by chance have pictures of the inside (or plan/drawing)...I would like to know how you realized the control panel...and how it's fixed on the cab.
By the way, if you have new picture it would be a pleasure to discover it ;-)
