Title: nintendo flat white t-molding question...
Post by: melarky on June 09, 2006, 04:59:51 pm
I have been thinking about making a mini donkey knog cabinet for a while now, and I see that t-molding.com has the flat nintendo white t-molding for sale at 9/16" width.

I just want to know what size wood I need to use for the side panels (I'm guessing that the 9/16" is for 3/4" wood, but just want to check to make sure).

My nintendo cabinet wood is 9/16. The t-mold from t-molding.com fits it perfectly

If you could find flat white t-mold in 3/4 - that would work.

My nintendo cab is also 9/16.  The white nintendo tmold from t-molding.com actually didn't fully cover the slot, I actually had to paint on both sides to the tmold slot so you wouldn't see any white from the primer.  So, I can only assume that it is slightly less than 9/16.  So if you go with 3/4, get some 3/4 inch tmold or else you will have teeny-tiny tmold on big daddy mdf/plywood/etc.
