So, I've just booked my flight and we will be on holiday in Boston/Massachusetts area end of august/begin september. Of course I'd like to visit some arcades or related things (museum ?? ;) ) in the "neighboorhood" if there is still anything around like that ?
If you ask why MA, well we will stay at my uncle and aunt's who live there...
Any suggestions highly appreceated, I really need to play some vintage original machines ! :)

I have never been to Boston, but I do not see how there couldn't be something like that around there. I bet you can find a nice big arcade around there somewhere. The best I can find in Northwest Arkansas are a couple of laundromats with about 10 or 12 games each. We have had the same arcade in the mall for at least 20 years. It used to be sweet, but now all it has are gun and driving games. The only game that had joysticks was Tekken 2.
Sorry to stray. I was just letting you know that if you want some good old school arcade action going to a big metropolitan area like Boston is your best bet. Good Luck.

There used to be a great arcade called Jillians on landsdowne street in Boston, right near Fenway Park. They had TONS of games, VR Simulations, a huge bar, it was a great atmosphere. They ripped all the games out a few years ago and turned it into a billiard hall/bowling alley. It's still a great place (classy), but no more games :( Sign of the times I guess.
