Title: ipac to control windows volume?
Post by: Dr. Jay on April 09, 2002, 07:54:16 am
Anyone know how to get an ipac to control the volume in windows?  I'd hate to break open a keyboard just to hack to the volume hotkeys.  I'm hoping there's a hardware or software trick that I'm missing.  Thanks.

I don't have my ipac yet, but have you tried programming that key already?

I've never used my MS keyboard with anything other than the USB connector & the driver was installed, so I'm not sure what it's sending.

You could try checking out their site for keyboard shortcuts or hotkeys.

If you can control/execute etc...from the keyboard, the I-Pac will also do it. Just need to re-program the IPAC for those shortcuts. I-PAC is like a KEYBOARD ( it is an encoder).
